Elastic polyester weft yarn consists of polyester yarn inside and cotton wrapped outside. It has excellent mechanical properties, including high heat resistance and high elongation at break, and is cost competitive. Elastic polyester weft yarn is used as weft yarn in the manufacturing of tire cord fabric.
